I cannot believe it is already February!
Like, where did the last few months go?
We have been continuing to work on #that70’shouse bit by bit around life, family, work and always wish we had more time to make more progress on the weekends. But it is a labor of love renovating a home and while we realize we will never really be “done” it sure is fun to plan and bring each small project to completion. Once you have done enough of these you look back and realize you’ve come a long way!
And with all that painting, and scrubbing and sanding (plus cold weather) about this time every year my skin is pretty dry.
And being a thrifty girl who would rather make things myself (this supports my Thai take out habit and Target trips 🙂 I like to make things myself.
What could be better than a jar of scrub next to the kitchen sink? My daughter and I made this together and after she headed home that evening she texted me and said MY HANDS ARE STILL SO SOFT so, I bring you the easiest scrub ever that I happen to love too.

A few things about the ingredients and why they work so well together, the sugar naturally exfoliates in a scrub and the lemon does as well removing dead skin cells with natural alpha hydroxy acid.
Olive oil is full of vitamins and antioxidants so while I cook everything in this green good stuff I also like to use it on my skin!
The secret weapon here is the Vitamin E oil, this stuff is so good for your skin, it does a wonderful job of moisturizing the skin and can reduce dry, flaky skin.

Here is how I made my scrub:
I used a mixing bowl and had a couple jars with lids ready to fill, in the bowl I combined-
2 cups of granulated sugar
2 T. olive or avocado oil
3 t. vitamin E oil
Juice + zest of one large lemon
I mixed it all up and put it in the jars for daily use next to my kitchen sink. And my hands are softer than they have been all winter. So I will probably make another batch of this soon, I cannot get enough of it. I have Psoriasis as well and this does not irritate my skin at all.

I am off to plan our weekend projects and wrap up the work day, I wish you a fabulous weekend and stay cozy my friends! Until next time-
xo, Tanya

Great recipe and I will try it this weekend.
One of heardle’s biggest strengths is how approachable it is. You don’t need musical training or deep technical knowledge to enjoy the game. Anyone who listens to music regularly can jump in, understand the rules within seconds, and start playing without feeling lost or overwhelmed.
Hey there, a random post in a hobby forum about sharing clips led me here. I tried it the same evening. While preparing a short video, the mp4 compressor online blended into my routine without fuss. I liked that nothing felt rushed or cluttered. The final file uploaded easily, and I closed my browser with a positive impression.
You absolutely have to try this recipe — the combination of flavors is just perfect! By the way, have you ever wondered why some platforms become so popular among users? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Yes, it really makes sense! Choosing reliable and well-designed platforms can make the experience much smoother and more enjoyable. I’d recommend looking for ones that are known for being user-friendly and trustworthy — it usually makes everything feel easier and more satisfying
