Fun DIY painted summer pots!

Hey there!

You won’t believe it but it’s SUNNY in the Pacific NW today (ok partly sunny but I will take it!) I am making the most of it πŸ™‚

I am super excited to share a quick and fun DIY I did this weekend with a few small terra cotta pots and some acrylic craft paint.

These are super easy, and you can use any design for inspiration too!

I used three clay pots, a brush, various colors of acrylic paint and began by painting the pots each with two coats of paint so they had a good base.

Once that was dry I started with my designs. I allowed each section to dry before adding more. So with the orange/peachy pot I painted the circles first. I let them dry then added the swoosh of yellow. Next I painted the green leaves and decided they needed more zhush so I added the black dots to the leaves.

The same process on the striped pot after each color was dry I went back and added another. The floral pot I started with the green fronds first, added the starfish-esqe flowers next then went back and added details!

I put one coat of mod-podge on the outside to protect the paint and voila!

A trio of pretty pots for my windowsill πŸ™‚

Are you team neutral or team color when it comes to gardening and containers?

I find myself doing some of each it seems. Thank you so much for reading friend, until next time!

xo, Tanya

  3. Hey everyone, I actually heard about this through a podcast where they briefly mentioned tools for handling digital payments without headaches. I paused the episode and later checked https://abfpay.com/en. At first, I thought it would be another complicated wallet, but it turned out surprisingly easy to understand. I liked that I didn’t need to read guides or watch tutorials. Everything felt natural, almost like using a familiar app. I tried exploring how payments work, and it gave me confidence that I wouldn’t mess anything up if I used it regularly.

  4.
