Easy Halloween Spiderweb Cupcakes

Hello friends!

I hope you are having an amazing week and getting into the Halloween fun as well. We don’t go over the top but we have some Halloween decor inside as well as out front.

We don’t get a ton of trick or treaters where we live but each year it’s so fun to see them come up the driveway in their little costumes full of excitement.

I was usually Wonder Woman or the Bionic Woman (yay 1970’s!) as a kid, and one year Cher which I put together myself. I don’t think anyone knew I was supposed to look like Cher but it didn’t matter to me.

The excitement of the big day, the planning, trudging thru the elements (usually rain for us here) and the reward of spreading your loot in front of you upon return.

Sometimes with all the festivities we need to bring a dessert or treat to a get-together and find that we are pressed for time.

Enter the humble cake mix.

I initially shared these in 2014 , but wanted to update the directions as I have removed dairy from my diet. These can be made not only dairy free as long as your mix and frosting does not have any milk or butter in them. The same applies for gluten as well, there are SO many yummy gluten free cake mixes out now!

Here is what you need to make the easiest and one of the prettiest spooky cupcakes your family and friends will love too.

Supplies:

One dozen Devil’s Food Cupcakes (homemade or store bought) unfrosted.

One container of whipped vanilla frosting.

One tube of black cake and cookie icing (Wilton makes a glittered variety too!)

Toothpicks

Small knife or spatula to spread frosting

Directions:

Begin by frosting your cupcakes with the white frosting.

Then one by one add first a large dot in the center of the cupcake, then a circle about half way to the edge around the dot, then another closer to the edge.

Using a toothpick begin in the center and drag the toothpick out to the edge,  work your way around the cupcake until the web has been created!

They are that easy 🙂

I cannot wait to share my next project with you, a refinished vintage dresser that got a huge upgrade with fresh paint and casters!

Until next time, stay creative! xx Tanya

  2. This article is a Halloween treat! I love the idea of easy spiderweb cupcakes. I remember dressing up as a witch one year and bringing store-bought treats. These cupcakes would’ve been perfect. I’m curious, has anyone tried making the glittered black icing? And how do you think different cupcake flavors would pair with the spiderweb design? I might just have to give these a go for my next Halloween gathering!

  3. The character development in horror games fnaf is often fascinating. I love seeing how characters evolve under pressure, and it adds depth to the narrative. It’s interesting to see how fear impacts their choices and relationships!

  4. these spiderweb cupcakes look absolutely adorable! i love the halloween spirit in your home – it’s so sweet that you keep things low-key but still festive. the trick-or-treaters in your area are lucky to have such a welcoming neighborhood!

i completely relate to the excitement of halloween as a kid. my mom used to sew my costumes and i’d always beg to be something elaborate. the memory of sorting through all my candy after trick-or-treating was always the best part for me too!

these cupcakes are the perfect treat to make with kids – the spiderweb design is clever but seems simple enough that little ones could help with the piping. i’m definitely trying these for our halloween party this year. thanks for sharing the recipe!

  5. Just like decorating Halloween spiderweb cupcakes where detail, creativity, and presentation matter, https://echelonbelle.com/ offers users in the USA a curated fashion experience focused on stylish everyday apparel, including T-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts, combining modern design, quality materials, and a smooth browsing interface, making it easy to create a distinctive and expressive look with comfort and consistency in every outfit choice.

  6. Creative ideas like these cupcakes show how simple details can make things more fun and engaging. While reading different discussions, I noticed some mentions from India related to https://melbet-app.in/. From what I could see, it offers various sports and live betting options, quick registration, and smooth mobile use. The interface looks clear and not overloaded, making it easy to navigate without extra effort.

  7. Those cupcakes look fun and surprisingly simple to make, especially the spiderweb detail on top. It’s interesting how small creative ideas like this stand out. I sometimes end up switching between completely different things online, and once https://iccwin1.in/ was just open among other tabs, something that felt pretty familiar from casual browsing habits in India.
