Hello friends!
I cannot believe we are just a few days away from Christmas Day, I am reminded daily I need to finish wrapping gifts by a persistent 13 year old lest I forget how little time we have left 🙂
We saw the singing Christmas Tree at a local church this week, these folks are like watching a Broadway show it was wonderful!
We are wrapping up two large remodels right now, tonight will be a late night at one and the other (a 100 year old home in Downtown Vancouver WA) will be done by mid January.
I am focusing my January on getting organized around our home and I am excited to share some of the things I am putting into place for boosting immunity. I have been doing a ton of research on autoimmunity and things I can do when medications and other things don’t work.
Today’s post is a simple cookie I love to make and wanted to share with you. You may need a quick treat to have on hand for folks dropping in or a little goodie bag to bring to a neighbor, these are perfect and look like little snowballs!

The are also know as Russian Tea Cakes, but I learned how to make them long ago knowing them as Mexican Wedding Cookies (ta-may-to or ta-mah-to right??)
Mexican Wedding Cookies
- 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature) I use dairy free butter so I can eat them too
- 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar (plus more to dust)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and in one bowl blend your butter/dairy free butter with the powdered sugar. Stir in the vanilla and set aside.
In another bowl blend the flour, salt and nuts and combine with the butter mixture. On an ungreased cookie sheet make balls about 1 1/4 inches around and space a couple inches apart on the cookie sheet.
I check mine at 10 minutes but find they are usually golden on the bottoms by 12 minutes.

Remove from oven and cool on wax paper, gently roll each cookie in the remaining powdered sugar and enjoy!!

So, we made our cookies, and now to the wish.
My Christmas wish this year is that we each take the time we need to rest.
To take care of our physical, mental and spiritual needs.
Get better at asking for and accepting help.
To spend some time in nature each day, even if it’s a quick walk around the block.
To be gentle with ourselves and remember that an empty cup cannot fill another.
To say no when something is not for us and not feel that we have to apologize.
To be open to all the good that is in the world and be ok with leaving old thoughts or beliefs behind that no longer serve us.
To focus on being who God created us to be, because that person is who the world desperately needs.
To love our beautiful, creative, flawed, free, loving, valuable selves that we deserve to be.
I so want this for every woman, to deeply know who she is and feel the freedom to show the world just how amazing she (we, us) are.
No matter where you are I hope you have a blessed, wonderful and Merry Christmas, I think you are amazing and thank you for reading my friend!
xo, Tanya

The recipe you shared is so detailed and I will try making this cake for my son’s birthday!
Players can start the game by selecting any of the three stages, much like in the original Geometry Dash. To get a feel for the game’s controls and timing, it is advised that players begin in ascending sequence of difficulty for the optimum experience.
Hey everyone! I found http://www.nastyhookups.com/one-night-stand-dating.html while looking for something fun and spontaneous for adults 18+. I wasn’t really expecting much, but the atmosphere felt relaxed and honest from the start. People there just want to talk, laugh, and enjoy a bit of playful energy. I ended up chatting with someone who matched my sense of humor perfectly — it’s been light, flirty, and surprisingly easygoing.
This Christmas, I decided to bake Mexican Wedding Cookies myself using a recipe from a blog — they turned out soft as snowballs, with nuts and vanilla, and the whole kitchen smelled like the holidays. While the dough was cooling, my thoughts revolved around gifts and family plans, but also about how the euro-rupee exchange rate was fluctuating unpredictably, as if trying to ruin my budget for next year’s trip to India. Then I opened trading— it has daily forecasts with clear analysis, charts, and support/resistance levels. Thanks to accurate forecasts for the week ahead, I adjusted the currency exchange in advance, saved a lot, and now I can calmly buy more gifts.
I’ve been using 888starz-app.com for my daily cricket predictions, and the speed is honestly impressive. Even with a standard 4G connection in Dhaka, the live odds update without any stutter. It’s a massive upgrade over using a mobile browser, especially when you need to place a quick bet during the final overs of a T20 match.
These are the best cookies but I’ve always known them as Russian Tea Cakes. Good call on the dairy-free butter swap, I might try that so more people can actually eat them.
These are definitely just Russian tea cakes with a different name, but they’re the best part of any holiday cookie tray. Using dairy-free butter is a solid tip for anyone with allergies.
These Mexican Wedding Cookies look absolutely wonderful! I’m planning to make them for Christmas and can’t wait to serve them with a beautiful Gongfu tea set – what a perfect combination for a cozy afternoon tea. Your Christmas wish is truly touching, taking care of ourselves is indeed so important. Thank you for sharing this recipe and such beautiful blessings!
These platforms usually offer a fairly predictable selection. 4rabet follows the pattern: football is the mainstay, followed by tennis, basketball, cricket, and sometimes esports. This is designed for a mass audience, especially in India, where cricket is practically a national religion. It doesn’t have the depth of specialized services, but the basic selection is covered. Recommendation: if you’re just using it for betting, it’s better to choose one or two sports and get familiar with them rather than trying to cover everything at once.
